This scent has a strong smoky note, with a faint grapefruit aroma. If you are looking for a strong citrus scent, we do not recommend this scent for you. Being a top note, the grapefruit is not able to overpower the earthy smoke aroma.

Bursera graveolens, or “holy wood” is an aromatic wood that has been valued for its therapeutic properties for centuries. It is harvested from an indigenous tree in arid areas of South America. The tree belongs to the same family as myrrh and frankincense, and ours is sustainably harvested from fallen trees in Peru.

It is believed that when Palo Santo is lit, it eliminates stagnant or negative energies and purifies the space, bringing uplifting positive energies, higher vibrations, and good luck. The soothing aroma of the smoke is often used to give your house a sweet smelling aroma and feel. Our Palo Santo oil is steam distilled from the fallen wood.

Performance: 

Essential oil candles have a very light scent when burned and can not be compared with a traditional fragrance candle. Please do not expect it to fill a room with scent. 

Our candles are ideal for individuals with sensitivities to fragrances and chemicals, those seeking to steer clear of potential toxins, and those yearning for the traditional candle ambiance with a more subtle scent.

Our 6 oz tin has an approximate burn time of 20 - 25 hours, 9 oz jar is 35-40 hours, and our new 10 oz Luxe Vessel has an approximate burn time of 40-45 hours. Properly burning your candle for the first time is crucial: Ensure that the melted wax reaches the edge of the container by allowing it to burn for approximately 2 to 3+ hours in our 10 oz candle. This simple step sets the foundation for an optimal candle-burning experience. 

Heat Warning:

Protect your order from heat: Because we do not use any stabilizers or preservatives in our candles, they do not do well in excess heat. We take as many precautions as possible to ensure that your order arrives in tip-top shape in the warmest of weather, and ship with ice packs to areas experiencing hot weather. Please note the ice packs only protect the candles for approximately 24-48 hours. If you are experiencing warm weather where you live, please keep an eye on your tracking number. We highly recommend being home for delivery, or taking your package into a climate controlled area as soon as possible after delivery.

Our One Year Candle Burn Guarantee gives you peace of mind that your candle will burn perfectly when it arrives, and for every time you light it. You can be sure that any defects in the wax and wick are covered - we will replace any candle deemed defective by our Customer Care Team.

Covered claims include: Wax sinkholes, excessive tunneling, and wicks that refuse to stay lit.
