Gives off little to no scent

I was happy to spend a little more on cleaner, better candles but unfortunately disappointed in how little scent they put off. No scent at all until you it's been burning for quite awhile, even then it's pretty faint.

Hi there! We are so sorry you think your candles have a weak scent. We try to be as transparent as possible and say that essential oil candles are much lighter than traditional fragrance candles and are not able to fill a room with scent. Essential oils are extremely flammable so we are limited to how much oil we can use to scent our candles. Without the chemicals used in traditional fragrances, it is nearly impossible to make an essential oil candle that is as strong as a fragrance oil candle.

Some of our scents are much stronger than others, so we encourage customers to use the scent strength filter when considering a candle they have not previously ordered. This filter can be found under the 'candle' tab of the website.

It’s also worth noting that there’s often a “detox” period when switching to essential oil candles. If you’re used to synthetic fragrances, your sense of smell may initially find essential oil aromas to be subtler. Synthetic candles condition our noses to expect strong scent throws, but once your sense of smell adjusts, the delicate and natural aroma of essential oils becomes much more noticeable.
