Our mission began by creating a truly non-toxic candle, but we soon realized fragrance and other harmful chemicals can be found throughout so many everyday products: especially soap. We set out to do something about it. The Soap and Renew Bar Soap collection was born!

Our bar soaps are 100% non-toxic, chemical and dye free, made from and packaged in entirely natural materials. We like to say that inside and out, there isn’t a cleaner bar soap in the world.

We pride ourselves on all of our products being MADE SAFE®certified free of any and all toxins known to harm the health of humans, animals, or ecosystems.

Unscented Bar Soap

Unscented Bar Soap is perfect for people with chemical sensitivity, easily irritated skin, or even work in a close-quarters professional environment.

Created from shea butter and coconut oil this bar soap is naturally unscented for a clean that helps to purify your skin without stripping it of its moisture.

Scented Bar Soap

The vast majority of brands add aromas to their soaps using synthetic fragrances. These synthetic fragrances have been shown to have dangerous effects on the human body.

We never use any synthetic fragrances in our bar soaps, instead, our soaps are scented with 100% pure essential oils.

The Fine Print of Our Bar Soap Ingredients

Many major brands don’t disclose all their ingredients. At Fontana, we proudly publish all of our ingredients and we’re happy to further explain why we’ve used each one in our soap.

All of our ingredients score a 2 or below on the Environmental Working Group Skin Deep score and are made or derived entirely from natural elements.

Sodium Cocoate: the sodium salt of fatty acids from coconut oil. Primarily composed of lauric acid. EWG Rating of 1.

Glycerin: a naturally occurring alcohol compound and a component of many lipids. Can be of animal or vegetable origin. Our glycerin is derived from coconut oil. Has an EWG rating of 1-2 depending on the usage.

Coconut Acid: a mixture of fatty acids derived from coconut oil. EWG rating of 1.

Sodium Chloride: an inorganic salt, also called table salt. EWG Rating of 1.

Sodium Citrate: used to adjust the acidity of a product. EWG Rating of 1.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter: a vegetable fat obtained from the fruit of a tree native to Africa. It primarily consists of fatty acids such as stearic and oleic acids. EWG Rating of 1.

Sodium Gluconate: a sodium salt of gluconic acid. Has an EWG rating of 1.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil: one of our favorite ingredients, that stays true to our heritage! Coconut Oil is extracted from the kernels of the seeds of the coconut palm. EWG Rating of 1.
